I’ve lived a life filled with joy and fun.

I can't believe that has been a year since I set you free on your final journey. I hope it brought you peace and you are having an amazing adventure.

Stiv, There are so many happy memories of you and that big smile, infectious laugh, wild hair, big bear hugs, soft top cars, and not forgetting that bright yellow sporran!!! One of my favourite pictures is of you and Mum ceilidh dancing with such vigour that you almost seem to be bursting out of the picture and that is how I will always think of you both 🥰 Your passing was devastating but it brought the lovely Morag back into my life so I will always be grateful for that nugget of joy. Hey dude, just watched your final journey with a lump in my throat. We had some fun times in and out of work and still remember meeting you at NCR for the first time and thinking 'this guy looks more a surfer than an engineer'. We clicked, shared a bucky, worked on the same projects, on card readers, although I want it on record I still don't forgive you for getting that trip to Japan 🇯🇵and leaving me back in Scotland, what a dick move 🤣
We left NCR on the same day and am glad we got to catch up for a beer with you and Mo in the Doghouse for some leaving do, and although we shared a few messages, I wish we had kept more in touch.
I fondly remember your wacky humour, laugh and smile.

Stiv, we never met although I do feel like I know you from all of the wonderful stories I have shared over a glass of gin. If it weren't for your passing, I'm not sure I'd have met M so I have to say thank you for opening the door for her to come into my life. Shine bright, sprinkle a little magic on our garden if you head this way. E x
Stiv, I am writing this with tears in my eyes. My head remains confused as to whether this is all real, but when I stop for a moment, take a deep breath, the void confirms it. I finally found the strength to set you free on your final journey... I hope I made the right decision and you enjoyed your final flight? It truly was breath-taking and made a lot of people cry! There will be a day - I don’t know when- when we are all touched by you in some way as you make your way back down to earth. Say hello to our special boys on your way 🐾🐾 You had so much to live for Stiv. I wish you could see how much you were loved and how terribly missed you are by so many 💔 I hope you found your peace..... It is now time for me to make the journey and find my peace.
