Music was one of the last pleasures my mom was able to enjoy in the final months of her life. She had eclectic taste, but Talking Heads was always amongst her favourites, and she showed me David Byrne's music special American Utopia within her final weeks. It was very "her." Please find the lyrics to David Byrne's song "One Fine Day" as well as a performance with the Brooklyn Youth Chorus here: https://www.themarginalian.org/2020/05/14/one-fine-day-david-byrne-brooklyn-youth-chorus-national-sawdust/

I enjoyed meeting your Mom. She was a very unique and special person. And I love the daughter she has raised
who is unique and special, too, and a joy to all of us in our Church services.
Keeping all of you in prayers and believing that we will see her again
May God bless you during this difficult time and may you feel His loving presence around you daily. Love to you..

🎈 wow Claire, I rarely use this word but that video is Awesome. Which also describes the caliber of human being of you and your mom.
Dear Claire,
What a beautiful tribute to your mom. I'm sobbing this morning watching this. I just couldn't make myself join you on Saturday. I'm so sorry. Your mom sure had an amazing life. Love you. Patty
Wow, Claire. So much wow. What a beautiful video. I don’t think I ever met your mom, but she managed to bring tears to my eyes today. I’m grateful for your time with her, her positive impact on your life, and your commitment to going the extra mile/fraction of a lightyear to make her final dream come true. Thank you for sharing something so precious. Love you!
Ps. Y’all are TWINS! ❤️
