Pops,Phil, Aph, was my friend for 58 years. We went to school together. We explored North Yorkshire together, we palyed golf together, usually from opposite sides of the fairway, my hook, his slice.
He never changed, always a bit Mad professor ish, always taking stuff to bits and putting them back together again, usually fixed. But always it seemed, enjoying himself greatly.
The launch into space of his ashes was typically him.
