1. Book the flight
When you’ve decided that sending ashes into space is right for your loved one, you can start the process by clicking the ‘book a flight’ button below. We even offer payment plans to spread the cost over a 12-month period, completely interest-free. Contact our team for more details.

​We’ll then send out a flight registration form to collect all the information we need from you to conduct a perfect space scattering memorial for your loved one.​

2. Transfer the ashes
You can either bring the ashes into our office personally or, if you’d rather, you can transfer the ashes directly from your care into ours.

We work directly with trusted independent ashes couriers who personally transport ashes directly from you to our team on the same day.
We’ll notify you once we’ve received the ashes and advise you of the next available window in our launch schedule. We generally allocate a period of one month for each passenger and aim to launch on the soonest suitable day within that window.
3. We scatter the ashes in space
In the week leading up to the launch window, our team will monitor weather conditions and liaise with the Civil Aviation Authority, UK Space Agency and Air Traffic Control organisations to identify a suitable day for the flight.

We’ll update you at every stage in the process and will send you an image from the flight within 24 hours.
4. You receive your memorial items
Following the launch, we’ll create a personalised memorial video commemorating the passenger and their journey into space. You will receive:

A USB drive containing the memorial video, an in-flight image, the official flight certificate, and a flight data sheet.

A personalised acrylic frame displaying the portrait that accompanied the passenger on their space flight.

A 10"X8” print of the passenger’s vessel set against the stunning backdrop of space. The video itself will be hosted on the Aura Flights memorial page for you to share with friends and family.
